About Teni Scribes

Hello! I'm Teni, a writer, storyteller, and creative soul on a journey to explore the healing power of words.

For as long as I can remember, writing has been my sanctuary—a place where thoughts become prayers, stories become testimonies, and words become bridges between hearts.

Through Teni Scribes, I share my passion for:

  • Poetry & Verse - Where emotions find rhythm and soul finds expression
  • Spoken Word - Giving voice to stories that need to be heard
  • Faith Journaling - Documenting spiritual journeys through written reflection
  • Creative Writing - Crafting narratives that inspire and transform

My mission is simple: to create a space where words heal, stories inspire, and creativity flourishes as an act of worship. Whether you're a seasoned writer or just beginning to explore your voice, you're welcome here.

With pen in hand and heart on page,

Teni

Let God's Word Guide You

Ask yourself, does it lead to glory?
Does it uplift or bring us down?
Is it aligned with God's holy crown?

Look within, feel the vibe,
Does it match the Spirit's drive?
If it's not right, don't follow the crowd,
Stand firm, be bold, speak loud.

Seek the truth in God's word,
Let it guide you, like a heavenly chord.
Pray for wisdom, ask for sight,
To know what's right, day and night.

Don't conform to the world's way,
Be a rebel, in a righteous sway.
Follow Jesus, He's the light,
He'll show you the way, through day and night.

So when trends come, and trends go,
Remember God's word, it's the way to know.

Anchored In The Promise

In the depths of night, when shadows press tight,
I wrestle with battles, unseen in the light.
Life’s storms rage hard, my heart feels torn,
But Your word is an anchor, my soul’s new dawn.

When I’m lost in the wilderness, feeling small,
I hear Your promise: “I’ll never let you fall.”
Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, I’m with you, be not dismayed,”
Your strength in my weakness, a fire that’s stayed.

Though the world may shake, and my spirit may bend,
I cling to the cross, where my story can mend.
Romans 8:38-39, no height nor depth can separate,
From the love of Christ, my hope’s ultimate fate.

In the valley of dry bones, Ezekiel 37 sings,
New life can rise, even broken wings.
I’m a prodigal child, returning home to stay,
Luke 15:20, the Father runs, wipes my tears away.

Salvation’s a river, flowing deep and wide,
In John 4:14, it quenches my thirst inside.
So I hold on to the truth, in the dark I’ll stand,
Psalm 23, my Shepherd leads me by the hand.

Lost but not forgotten, found in grace’s embrace,
2 Corinthians 5:17, a new creation, new life.
The cross is my compass, the Word my guide,
In Christ, I’m alive, no longer hide.
